Earth is under attack by an alien species of biblically-accurate dialogue trees known as Dendrons. Our only hope is a team of moody teenage mecha pilots.

You are the only adult in the room. You must Admire, Joke, Coerce, and Boast your way to victory as you manage the emotions of the teenage heroes.

Made for Wheel Jam 2025.

Controls

[WASD] or [ARROWS] to select actions.

[SPACE] to confirm action.

[ESC] to pause and adjust settings.

Controllers are supported.

Tutorial

Watch your pilots' faces when selecting dialogue options. If the pilot makes a happy face for a given interaction, try to use a big wheel slice on that action. Conversely, if the pilot makes an unhappy face for an interaction, try to use a small wheel slice on that action.

Each wheel slice can only be used once per round and the wheel rotates after each selection, so plan ahead!

After all four wheel slices have been selected, if the pilot is in a good mood, they'll attack the enemy! If the pilot is in a bad mood, they'll be attacked!

I think the UI turned out really well! A time limit or some feedback on attacks could go a long way here. I appreciated that the game had volume options!

Thanks for the feedback!

I always have my system volume really low, so I can never figure out if a given sound is too loud for other users :)

I want more feedback on how I'm doing with the pilots! Either damage numbers of different sizes, or hp bars on the enemy.

Lots of fun to play and try to get the emotional tone right with these kids though, great entry and perfect aesthetically!

Good feedback! I wanted it to be a bit hidden, but there's a small way to tell if an attack did one or two hits worth of damage: the number of exclamation marks in the attack :)
